Set per-location handling costs

Set a per-order handling cost for each fulfillment location so profit reflects what fulfillment really costs.

Updated June 30, 2026

If fulfilling an order from a particular location has an internal cost, like moving stock in from a warehouse or store, you can set a per-order handling cost for each location. These costs only affect this app's profit numbers and never change anything in Shopify. Per-location handling costs are available on the Business plan.

Steps

  1. Open Cost rules, then Locations (/app/costs/locations).
  2. Find each location in the list. Locations sync automatically from your Shopify store.
  3. Enter a per-order handling cost next to each location you want to charge for. Leave a field blank to charge nothing for that location.
  4. Click Save.

What you should see

Each saved cost is applied per order fulfilled from that location. When an order is fulfilled from more than one location, each location's handling cost is added. Your order and profit numbers update to include the handling cost.

Tip

Inactive locations still appear, marked "inactive", so their cost stays set for older orders. If no locations show yet, they will appear once they sync from Shopify.
