Connect Google Ads
Link your Google Ads account so the app pulls your ad spend automatically and ties it to orders.
Updated June 30, 2026
Connecting Google Ads pulls your ad spend in automatically, so the app can tie that spend to the orders it helped create and show your real return on ad spend. You no longer have to type spend in by hand. Connecting needs the Pro plan.
Steps
- Open Cost rules, then Marketing (/app/costs/marketing).
- Scroll to the Connections section and find Google Ads.
- Click Connect. The Connect button shows on the Pro plan and above. On the Free plan you will see Upgrade to Pro instead.
- Sign in to Google with the account that can see your Google Ads, and allow the app to read your Google Ads data.
- Google sends you back to the app. Every Google Ads account that login can access is connected, and a first spend sync is queued for you.
What you should see
A green "Google Ads connected" banner, and each account listed as Connected in the Connections section. Spend data appears within a few minutes, after the next sync runs. The first sync imports up to the last 13 months of spend, so year-over-year comparisons work from day one; after that the app stays synced day by day. Each connected account has a menu (the icon button on its row) with Sync now to pull again and Disconnect to remove it.
Tip
If you also added a Google Ads cost by hand under Marketing costs, the connected account's real spend is used instead and your manual entry is ignored, so your ad spend is never counted twice.
