Thresholds

Bulk thresholds by collection, tag, or type

Protect many products at once with one rule. Pick a collection, tag, or product type and set a threshold for every variant, or a different threshold per option value like size.

Updated July 22, 2026

Bulk thresholds (Pro) set a stock buffer for many products with one rule. Pick a collection, tag, or product type, then keep a threshold on every variant it matches, or only on specific option values such as XL and L. New products that match a rule are covered automatically.

Create a bulk threshold

  1. Open Bulk thresholds (/app/bulk-thresholds).
  2. Under Target by, choose Collection, Tag, or Product type, then pick the value.
  3. Under Apply to, keep All variants for one threshold across the whole group, or pick an option (like Size) to set a threshold per value.
  4. Enter the threshold, or one threshold per option value. Leave a value blank to skip it.
  5. Click Save.

Manage rules

Active rules appear in a table showing the target, type, what it applies to, the thresholds, and how many variants are covered. From a row you can Edit the threshold (for all-variants rules), Sync to recheck which variants match, or Remove the rule.

What you should see

The variants covered by a rule show a badge naming the rule on the Thresholds page. A threshold you set directly on a variant still overrides the rule for that variant.

Good to know

Bulk rules sit between per-variant thresholds and the shop default in how thresholds decide what gets blocked. For one-off products, set a threshold on a product instead. To set exact numbers per SKU from a spreadsheet, use CSV import.
