Troubleshooting

Low-stock alerts are not arriving

If you are not getting stock emails, check that delivery is on, a recipient is set, the variant has its own threshold, and you have not hit the monthly cap or a digest schedule.

Updated July 22, 2026

If low-stock emails are not showing up, run through this list on the Alerts page (/app/alerts).

Check these

  1. Is alert delivery on? The Enable alert delivery switch at the top has to be on, with a valid Alert recipient email filled in.
  2. Does the variant have its own threshold? Alerts are sent for variants that have a threshold set directly on them. A variant that is only covered by a bulk rule or the shop default does not send its own alert - set a threshold on the variant on the Thresholds page if you want alerts for it.
  3. Is the variant's alert switch on? In the Alerts table, each variant has an Alerts switch. If it is off for that row, no email is sent for it.
  4. Are you in digest mode? A daily, weekly, or monthly digest does not send the moment stock dips - it waits for the scheduled send time. Switch Delivery mode to "Send each alert immediately" if you want them right away. See alert digests.
  5. Have you hit the monthly cap? On the Free plan, alerts stop after 10 in a month and are throttled until the count resets. The This month cards show how many you have used. See usage and limits.
  6. Check your spam or junk folder, and add the sender to your contacts so future alerts land in your inbox.

Good to know

Use Preview example email on the Alerts page to confirm the email looks right and the address is correct. Full setup is covered in low-stock email alerts.
