Check-in and the door
Tickets on the Shopify order page
See, edit, resend and check in an order's event tickets from the Shopify order page, and check an event product's attendance and stock.
Updated September 24, 2026
Easy Tickets adds a block and three actions to Shopify order pages, and a block to each event's product page. With them, staff see an order's tickets, fix details, resend, check guests in and jump to the event, all inside the Shopify admin.
The Easy Tickets block on an order
Open an order in Shopify. The Easy Tickets block shows:
- A summary, such as "2 tickets · 1 event · 1 checked in".
- The ticket code and attendee name. With several tickets, pick one in the Attendee ticket menu.
- The event name as a link into Easy Tickets, with the ticket type, the seat, and the date and time.
- Badges for the ticket's status and "Checked in", and the attendee's email or "No attendee email".
- Three buttons: Manage tickets, Manage check-in and Refresh.
An order without tickets shows only the block's header. A brand-new order shows its tickets once Easy Tickets has processed it, so click Refresh after a moment. You can pin or hide the block with Shopify's own controls.
Manage check-in
Open the order, then More actions > Manage check-in, or click Manage check-in in the block. The popup lists each ticket on the order as "Checked in" or "Not checked in".
- Check in records the first entry.
- Record another entry adds one on a multi-entry ticket that has entries left.
- Undo check-in removes the latest entry, when the ticket type allows undo.
Manage check-in follows the same check-in rules as the door: time windows, expiry, the entrance limit and the event's Enable check-in switch. A refusal shows under the button, such as "Check-in is not allowed at this time".
This is the one door that records who checked a guest in. The ticket's history shows your name with "Change made in Shopify Admin". Each check-in here also fires the Attendee Checked In trigger in Shopify Flow.
Manage check-in works one ticket at a time, and it has no camera.
Manage tickets
Open the order, then More actions > Manage tickets, or click Manage tickets in the block. The popup shows each ticket with its event, date, ticket type, seat, email and status, whether refund protection was bought, and the purchased options.
Each ticket has four buttons:
- Edit ticket: change first name, last name, email, phone and answers to your questions. Change date or time moves the ticket to another date of the same series. Resend ticket sends the ticket email again after you confirm.
- View history: every change to the ticket, newest first, with who made it and where.
- Staff notes: notes for your team, on this ticket only or the whole order. Customers never see them.
- Open event: opens the event in Easy Tickets.
Editing a ticket changes the ticket only. The Shopify order, its buyer and its payment stay as they were.
To move or resend several tickets together, use Move multiple tickets or Resend multiple tickets and select 2 to 20 tickets.
Changing the date here
- Only dates of the same series that have not started yet are offered.
- Checked-in tickets, bundle tickets, seated tickets and class-pack bookings cannot be moved here.
- Moving sends no email. Use Resend ticket if the guest needs the new details.
- A bulk move checks every ticket first. If one ticket cannot move, none of them move.
A move fires the Ticket Moved trigger in Shopify Flow. For moves from inside Easy Tickets, see Transfer a ticket or move it to another date.
View in Easy Tickets
Open the order, then More actions > View in Easy Tickets. The popup lists the order's events. Click Open event to open one in Easy Tickets. A date of a recurring event opens its series.
The Easy Tickets Events block on a product
Open an event's product in Shopify under Products. The Easy Tickets Events block shows the event, its date and a status badge: "Active", "Paused", "Upcoming" or "Archived".
- Attendance: Booked, Checked in and Still expected, filtered by date and ticket type. It counts active tickets only.
- Check inventory: compares Shopify's available stock with the event's own numbers for each ticket type, and shows "Matches" or "Different quantities". Staff who can edit can run Retry inventory sync to correct Shopify's stock.
- Open event and Guest list: open the event in Easy Tickets.
The product block has no check-in and lists no names.
Who can use them
- Staff need Shopify's permission to open orders.
- The store owner and staff with the Orders permission can edit and check in. Other staff see "View-only access".
- Orders older than 60 days cannot be opened from these tools.
- Manage check-in, Manage tickets and View in Easy Tickets appear on every order, including orders without tickets. There they say that no tickets or events are linked yet.
The words in these tools follow each staff member's Shopify admin language, apart from the "Easy Tickets" block title.
