What Easy Tickets & Events does

Easy Tickets & Events is a Shopify app that turns any Shopify store into a complete event ticketing platform - events as products, QR check-in (web + POS), branded PDF tickets, recurring sessions, and more.

What it does, in one paragraph

Easy Tickets & Events lets Shopify merchants sell event tickets natively. You create an event in the app, which creates a backing Shopify product with one variant per ticket tier. Customers buy through your normal storefront. On purchase, Easy Tickets generates QR-coded tickets, emails them with a branded confirmation, and attaches branded PDFs. At the event, staff scan QR codes through the web check-in PWA or the Shopify POS extension. After the event, you get analytics on sales, check-in rates, and attendee data.

What you can sell

  • One-time events. A specific date and time, sold until capacity or until the off-sale time.
  • Recurring series. Daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly. Pick recurrence rules and Easy Tickets spawns instances automatically.
  • Time-slotted events. Multiple time windows within a day (10am, 2pm, 6pm sessions).
  • Multi-day events. A single event spanning multiple days.
  • Online events. Auto-creates a Zoom meeting and includes the link in confirmation emails.
  • Transit / tour events. Pick origin and destination, useful for guided tours.
  • Bundles. Sell "Table of 10" - one buyer gets a primary ticket plus claim links to send to friends.
  • Group packs. "4-pack" tickets that count as one purchase but admit four people.

Ticket configuration

Per event, you can configure:

  • Multiple ticket types. General Admission, VIP, Student, Member - each at its own price and inventory.
  • Per-type or shared inventory. Choose between per-tier stock or a single pool.
  • Dynamic pricing tiers. Early Bird until Friday, then Regular, then Last Chance - automatic scheduled price bumps.
  • Promo codes. Real Shopify discount codes with optional product-page banner.
  • Add-ons. T-shirt sizes, meal options, parking - each is a Shopify product/variant under the hood.
  • Refund protection. Optional upsell, opt-in per attendee or per order.

Attendee management

  • Capture standard fields (name, email, phone) + unlimited custom fields per event.
  • Capture data at add-to-cart via a storefront popup, or pull from the order's contact.
  • Self-service ticket transfer via a public link.
  • Bundle claim links for group purchases.
  • Waitlist when the event sells out, with optional Shopify Flow trigger.

Check-in

  • Web check-in PWA - installable from /checkin/:eventId on phone or tablet. Camera-based QR scan, manual code lookup, live attendance counter, optional event PIN protection.
  • Shopify POS extension - native tile in the POS app, scan with POS hardware camera, staff attribution per scan, undo check-in, live ticket-type stats.
  • Check-in rules - per ticket type, set time windows, entrance limits, expiry rules.

Email and PDF design

  • Confirmation email + scheduled reminder email per event.
  • Visual block editor (drag, toggle, edit text, upload logo, change colours and fonts).
  • Custom rich-text blocks, two-column layouts, image blocks.
  • Raw HTML editor with template variables.
  • Two PDF presets (Digital, Physical) plus full block editor for ticket layout.
  • Multilingual via per-shop translation overrides.

Storefront popup

  • Modal popup on the product page collecting attendee info before add-to-cart.
  • Custom fields configurable per event.
  • Calendar/time picker for recurring or slotted events.

Online ticket pages

Integrations

  • Zoom - OAuth connection, auto-creates meetings for online events.
  • Klaviyo - sync attendees to email lists.
  • Mailchimp - sync attendees to audiences.

What is Easy Tickets & Events?

Do I need a separate ticketing account?

No. Everything lives inside Shopify. Tickets are Shopify products, orders are Shopify orders, customers are Shopify customers. Payouts, taxes, refunds, returns, customer communication - all native Shopify flows. Easy Tickets adds the event metadata, check-in tools, and email/PDF design.
