Troubleshooting
My materials are not appearing on my product page
The reasons materials do not appear on a storefront, in the order worth checking.

Work through these in order.
1. Is the block on your product page?
This is the most common one by far. Materials can be saved and showing in the app and still be invisible, because nothing renders them until the Materials and Care block is in your theme. The home page warns you when this is the case.
2. Open the product and read the top of the page
Saving a product puts it on your store in the same step, so a product you have saved is normally showing. When it is not, the reason is a banner at the top of that product:
- This product is not showing. The last attempt to update your product page failed, and the reason is underneath.
- Saved, but not on your store. You are past the number of products your plan shows. Everything you typed is kept. See plans and billing.
- A translation is missing. One of your materials has no name in one of the languages you turned on, so the app waits rather than printing the wrong language.
If the product is showing, the page says so above the Take off my store button. The View on my store button at the top is always there - it opens your product page whether or not your materials are on it yet, so you can see exactly what shoppers see.
3. Are you looking at the right theme?
The app checks your live theme. If you added the block to a copy you are still working on, it will not count until that theme is published.
4. The block is there but the setup step says it is not
Check the block is not hidden. A block switched off with the eye icon in the theme editor shows nothing to shoppers, so the app does not count it either.
If it is on your live theme, switched on, and the step is still not green, open the step and press Mark as done. A few themes store their pages in a way the app cannot read. Your materials still show on your product page - the setup step is a tracker, not a switch, and nothing is held back by it.
