Use case - classes & workshops
How to run recurring classes and workshops on Shopify
Short answer
How it works
Set the class as a recurring event
Choose a repeat pattern or add specific dates and time slots. The app creates each session as its own bookable instance with a capacity you set.
Customers book a session
Attendees pick the date and time they want and pay through your Shopify checkout. Each session tracks its own remaining spots, so a class cannot be overbooked.
Manage the attendee list
Every session has an attendee list you can search, filter and export. You can transfer, refund or resend a ticket without leaving the app.
Check attendees in
Scan QR tickets at the door from the web check-in page or Shopify POS. You see who has arrived per session in real time.
What you get
- Recurring, multi-day and time-slotted sessions from one setup
- Per-session capacity so classes cannot be overbooked
- QR-coded tickets and branded confirmation emails
- Attendee lists per session with search, filters and CSV export
- Ticket transfers, refunds and resends without leaving the app
- Web and Shopify POS check-in
Recurring and time-slotted sessions
A class that runs every Tuesday, a workshop with three time slots a day, a course that spans several dates: these are all one event with generated sessions in Easy Tickets & Events. You set the pattern once instead of rebuilding the product every week.
Each session carries its own capacity and its own attendee list, so a fully booked Tuesday does not affect the seats left on Thursday.
Managing attendees and check-in
For classes, the day-to-day work is the attendee list, not the storefront. You can search and filter attendees per session, export the list, and handle transfers or refunds in a few clicks.
At the session, check people in by scanning their QR ticket from your phone or the Shopify POS app. If you sell one-off tickets too, see selling event tickets on Shopify.
