Uploading brand logos
Upload a logo per brand in Easy Brand Page. Logos show on brand cards and in the brand slider, and are stored in your own Shopify Files.
Updated July 23, 2026
Every brand in Easy Brand Page can have its own logo. You upload it once on the Brands page, and it shows on that brand's card in the directory and in the brand slider. Logos are optional - a brand without one falls back to the mapped collection's image, or the brand name.
Adding a logo
- Open Brands. Each row has a Logo column.
- Click the button in that column. It says Add logo when the brand has no image at all, and Edit logo when the brand already shows one (an uploaded logo, or its mapped collection's image). A dialog opens - for a brand called Nike, it's titled Logo for "Nike".
- Drop your image on the upload area (it says Drop an image here, or click to browse), or click it to pick a file.
- The file can be PNG, JPG, WEBP, or GIF, up to 5 MB. Transparent PNGs look best.
The upload is stored in your store's own Shopify Files and served from Shopify's CDN.
Changing or removing a logo
Click Edit logo on the brand's row to reopen the dialog. What you see depends on the brand:
- With an uploaded logo: a Current logo preview, a Remove logo button (the card then falls back to the mapped collection image, or the brand name), and the upload area to replace it with a new file.
- With only a collection image: a preview of that image with a note that uploading a logo replaces it on the card.
Where the logo shows
The dialog puts it plainly: "The logo shows on this brand's card on your storefront and in the brand slider. Without one, the card shows the mapped collection image, or the brand name."
So the card image priority on the storefront is always:
- The uploaded logo.
- The mapped collection's image.
- The brand's first letter or name.
For the main directory to show card images at all, the Show brand images setting must be on in the theme block - see styling the directory.
Publishing
Logos publish to your storefront automatically the moment you save, like every other change on the Brands page. If a publish fails, the usual banner appears with a Re-sync to storefront button - see how brand syncing works.
If an upload fails
After the app update that added logos, Shopify asks you to approve a new permission (managing files) the next time you open the app. Until you approve it, uploads fail with a message telling you to close and reopen the app. Do exactly that: close the app, open Easy Brand Page again from your Shopify admin, approve, and retry.
Free plan limits
Logo uploads are included on every plan. On the free plan, brands locked by the 30-brand display cap can't edit logos - see plans and pricing.
Frequently asked questions
What image formats and size can I upload for a brand logo?
PNG, JPG, WEBP, or GIF, up to 5 MB. Transparent PNGs look best because they sit cleanly on any card background.
Where are uploaded brand logos stored?
In your store's own Shopify Files, served from Shopify's CDN. Nothing is hosted outside your shop.
What shows on a brand card if the brand has no logo?
The mapped collection's image, if there is one. Otherwise the card shows the brand's first letter or name. Nothing breaks without logos.
Why does my logo upload fail with a message about reopening the app?
Logo uploads need a new Shopify permission (managing files). Shopify asks you to approve it the next time you open the app after the update that added logos. Close the app, reopen Easy Brand Page from your Shopify admin, approve the permission, and retry the upload.
